Position Overview: Accounts Receivable Manager As an Accounts Receivable Manager at Fenix Parts, you will oversee the complete process of collecting payments from customers and posting those payments accurately. This role requires exceptional leadership, strong attention to detail, and a deep understanding of accounting procedures. You will lead and support a team of Accounts Receivable Clerks, ensuring the timely collection and management of accounts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership: Set objectives for the accounts receivable team that align with the accounting department’s goals and supervise daily activities.
  • Statement Management: Oversee the distribution of monthly statements to customers and ensure accurate and timely communications.
  • Payment Collection: Ensure the timely collection of payments and maintain a high standard of invoicing and collection procedures that comply with legal requirements.
  • Daily Operations: Oversee daily deposits and application of customer payments to the subledger.
  • Credit Management: Conduct credit checks and review new credit accounts for approval.
  • Training & Support: Support and train Accounts Receivable Clerks, ensuring team members adhere to accounting principles.
  • Reconciliation: Manage inter-company reconciliations and daily cash receipts reconciliation.
  • Problem Solving: Address and resolve any issues related to accounts receivable efficiently.

Requirements:

  • Experience: 10+ years of direct Accounts Receivable experience, with 3+ years of direct management experience. (Required)
  • Knowledge: Strong background in accounting and multi-location management.
  • Skills:
    • Hands-on experience with multiple forms of accounting software.
    • Advanced knowledge of Excel, including complex formulas.
    • Excellent team management skills and a problem-solving attitude.
  • Attributes: High level of confidentiality and professionalism.
