Job Description

The Armed Protective Security Officer personnel will be responsible for providing security services to prevent breaches of security at a specified government building.

Responsibilities

• Enforces regulations and procedures designed to prevent security breaches.
• Will conduct personnel, vehicular, building, & facility checks and package & parcel inspection.
• Must be able to work flexible hours to include weekends and holidays.
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of service in the U.S. Armed Forces (including Reserves and/or National Guard; or two years of combined military and civilian security experience; or three total years of experience in physical security.
• Must possess United States citizenship.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Skill in operating operating a personal computer and standard office equipment.
• Must have knowledge of a variety of computer software applications in word processing, spreadsheets, database, (MSWord, Excel, Access, PowerPoint), and Outlook.
