Job Description

Our client, a leader in the facilities management industry, is seeking a Commercial HVAC Technician to join their team. As a Commercial HVAC Technician, you will be part of the maintenance department supporting multiple facilities. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Commercial HVAC Technician

Location: Hattiesburg, MS

What's the Job?

Perform maintenance and repairs on Mechanical, Plumbing, Structural, Furniture, Fire, Life Safety, and Control systems for the facility.
Travel between multiple facilities to ensure their proper function and compliance with applicable standards.
Maintain responsibility for facility services, preventative maintenance, purchasing, inventory control, and technical proficiency.
Conduct cleaning, inspecting, calibrating, and changing parts to maintain HVAC systems at optimum performance levels.
Monitor the quality and pricing of maintenance work performed by outside contractors and ensure compliance with safety procedures.

What's Needed?

High School Diploma or Equivalent.
5-7 years of experience maintaining and repairing commercial building systems.
Ability to analyze the operation of various Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and HVAC systems.
EPA 608 Type II Certification.
Working knowledge of computer applications including Word and Excel.
