Construction Accountant

A well-known local area company is seeking an enthusiastic, savvy Construction Accountant to join their accounting team. This is an excellent position that will give you the opportunity to work and learn directly with the Controller.

Responsibilities of the Construction Accountant:

• Responsible for monthly accounting for multiple construction projects
• Day-to-day accounting and month end responsibilities which include bank reconciliations, booking accruals, tying out balance sheet accounts.
• Assist with external audit for certain assigned projects
• AIA billing, certified payroll, working with subcontractors
• Additional duties as assigned.

Desired Qualities and Qualifications of the Construction Accountant:

• BS in Accounting.
• Construction accounting experience
• Strong communication skills
• Proficient within Excel, Sage
