Department : School of Education & Professional Studies
Position : Early Childhood Education (ECE) Accreditation Consultant for the Early Childhood Education Program
Core Duties :
1. Communicate and collaborate with faculty, staff, administrators, and external accreditation specialists regarding accreditation requirements/recommendations.
2. Collect data and supporting documentation on the ECE program to submit as evidence for accreditation.
3. Develop detailed written reports of evidence gathered.
4. Attend all accreditation-related meetings with the Connecticut Office of Early Childhood (OEC) andNAEYC.
5. Complete ongoing accreditation training sessions.
Minimum Qualifications :
• Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education and/or related field
• Experience in research processes, such as data collection and analytics
Preferred Qualifications :
• Preference will be given to those who have worked in a higher education environment.
• Preference will be given to those who have experience in higher education accreditation processes, suchas NAEYC Accreditation of Early Childhood Higher Education Programs.
• Preference will be given to those with technological proficiency, including Microsoft Office,SharePoint, WebEx/TEAMS, and other required platforms.
• Experience in quantitative data organization and analysis, with proficiency in running a statisticalprogram, is preferred.

• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and maintain a high level of accuracy.
• Strong attention to detail, ensuring all aspects of projects are completed meticulously.
• Capable of planning, scheduling, and executing projects to ensure smooth workflow and timelycompletion.
• Demonstrates initiative and can work independently without close supervision.
Schedule : Part-Time Position—Scheduling is Flexible—Hybrid (On-Campus and Remote)
Salary : Grant Funded University Assistant Position--$20-$25 Per Hour
