A bit about us: We are seeking a dynamic and highly-experienced Permanent Lateral Partner to join our esteemed legal team. Why join us? The Permanent Lateral Partner will be responsible for handling a broad range of business litigation matters, including but not limited to:
1. Managing all aspects of litigation, including taking and defending depositions, drafting and arguing motions, and handling trial preparations and courtroom activities.
2. Developing and implementing litigation strategies to achieve optimal outcomes for our clients.
3. Engaging in client development and retention activities, including building and maintaining strong relationships with existing clients and identifying and pursuing opportunities with potential new clients.
4. Contributing to the firm's overall strategic planning and decision-making as a member of the partnership.
5. Mentoring and training junior attorneys and other legal staff, fostering a supportive and collaborative team environment.
6. Keeping abreast of developments in business litigation law, ensuring the firm's practices are up-to-date and compliant with all relevant regulations and standards.
Job Details Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Permanent Lateral Partner position will possess the following qualifications:
1. A Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.
2. Admission to the state bar and good standing.
3. A minimum of 5 years of experience in business litigation, with a proven track record of success.
4. Demonstrated experience in managing complex litigation matters from start to finish.
5. Exceptional legal research and writing skills.
6. Excellent negotiation and client management skills.
7. Strong leadership and team-building abilities.
8. An entrepreneurial mindset, with a willingness to take on challenges and drive the firm's growth.
9. High ethical standards and professional integrity.
