Facility in Middlebury, VT is looking for an urgent ObGyn locums coverage. Please see the details and let me know if you have any questions:

Pay:

Hourly Rate: $290/hr

24-Hour Call: $2,500 plus $300/hr for call-back

Schedule and Coverage:

Immediate Need: Must have an active VT license and a clean background (no malpractice claims, clean NPDB, no work gaps).

Clinic and On-Call Coverage Required

Dates Needed:

1. May 24, 5pm - May 28, 7am
2. June 14, 7am - June 17, 7am (with sleep time), June 17, 5pm - June 18, 7am
3. June 19, 7am - June 20, 7am
4. July 26, 7am - July 29, 7am (with sleep time), July 29, 5pm - July 30, 7am
5. July 31, 7am - August 2, 7am
6. August 1, in clinic 7am-5pm
7. August 3, 7am - August 4, 7am
8. August 4, 7am - August 5, 7am
9. August 5, 7am - August 6, 7am; also in clinic August 5 and 7, 7am-5pm
10. August 7, 7am - August 8, 7am
11. August 9, 7am - August 12, 7am; also in clinic August 9, 7am-5pm

Responsibilities:

1. Provide OB and acute GYN care in the office.
2. Manage call coverage for the hospital.
3. Perform anticipated procedures/surgeries such as Cesarean delivery, emergency D&C, 3rd and 4th degree repairs, and surgery for torsion or ectopic pregnancies.
4. Read ultrasounds (preferred).

Requirements:

Preference for experience over fellowship completion.

Additional Information:

1. Patient load is variable.
2. Support from additional surgical and support staff.
3. Potential for working solo or as backup to midwives.
4. The facility reported an average of 24 deliveries per month in 2023.
5. Low trauma level.
6. EMR system: EPIC.
