MUST BE A CURRENT MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR LEVEL I/ II TO APPLY Exciting Internal Opportunity: Bulletin Reviewer MSII Facilities Station Programs The Bulletin Review MSII position is an outstanding opportunity for an internal candidate passionate about electrical and communication systems.
Desired Departments : Lighting, Communication, and Facilities Maintenance.
Key Responsibilities: - Engage directly with MTA Capital Contracts, reviewing electrical and communications bulletin procedures, ensuring the reliability and effectiveness of new contract work, and safeguarding critical station infrastructure.
- Participate centrally in various TEAMS meetings, from vital bulletin meetings to on-site field meetings. Protecting the DOS systems against potential damage during contract work and ensuring DOS safety standards are followed during essential contract work.
- Oversee the introduction of new AC and DC lighting fixtures, examining mock-ups and ensuring their suitability before installation goes ahead. Paying close attention to details and driving quality and innovation in our lighting solutions.
- Document and Drawing Review: Provide critical feedback on capital contract drawings and Operations and maintenance manuals. Refine electrical specifications and project scopes, enhancing operational efficiency and system safety.

Education and Experience: Five years of full-time satisfactory experience with a major railroad or transit authority; at least one year of this experience must have been in a supervisory capacity.
Desired Skills :
- Knowledge of Access Nodes, Application Nodes, Help Points, CCTV Systems
- Electrical Systems Knowledge: Proficiency in understanding and troubleshooting complex electrical systems, especially related to public transit or similar infrastructure.
- Technical Proficiency in Telecommunications: Familiarity with various communication systems and their integration into larger networks.
- Experience with Safety Standards: Knowledge of local, state, and electrical codes and safety regulations to ensure compliance during project execution.
- Problem-Solving & Analytical Abilities: Quickly identify and resolve issues, analyzing technical documents precisely for accuracy and compliance.
- Communication & Collaboration: Strong verbal and written skills for effective meetings and detailed reports, enhancing team problem-solving and project management.
- Project Management Proficiency: Skilled in leading meetings and managing field activities, adept at juggling multiple tasks to keep projects on track.
- Adaptability & Quick Learning: Easily adapts to new challenges and rapidly absorbs technological and industry changes, ensuring smooth transitions in dynamic environments.
