Shift Options:

1st Shift: Monday - Thursday, 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM; Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM; Saturday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM (as needed, typically 2-3 Saturdays a month)

Pay: $21.22/hr

Positions Available: 3

3rd Shift: Sunday - Wednesday, 7:00 PM - 5:30 AM; Thursday, 5:00 PM - 1:30 AM; Friday, 5:00 PM - 1:30 AM (as needed, typically 2-3 Friday nights a month)

Pay: $22.47/hr

Positions Available: 1

Additional Pay:

Full-time employees receive an additional $1.25/hr.

Job Summary:

We are seeking skilled MIG Welders for fixture welding positions. The role involves fixture welding with the assistance of automated robots and requires working in welding cells. Welders will often work in pairs, with one person tacking and the other finishing the welds.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform MIG (GMAW) welding on fixtures using 1G welding positions.
• Operate and assist with welding robots and automated systems.
• Ensure high-quality welds by following safety protocols and quality standards.
• Work effectively in welding cells, often collaborating with a partner for tacking and finishing tasks.
• Utilize ergonomically designed fixtures to maintain optimal working posture.
• Complete welding tests, including the 1G welding test, administered by a certified welding professional.
• Follow safety requirements, including the use of provided helmets, jackets, hearing protection, and steel-toed boots with metatarsal guards.

Requirements:

• Proven experience with MIG welding (GMAW) and fixture welding.
• Ability to perform welding tests, specifically the 1G welding test.
• Experience with welding robots and manual welding processes.
• Strong adherence to safety protocols and personal protective equipment usage.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Comfortable with horizontal and more complex welding tasks.
