Position Summary:

We're looking for a Senior Buyer to join our team to support and develop strategies within the Strategic Sourcing department in the ongoing pursuit of cost and growth objectives.

Where You'll Work:

This role will be based out of our Concord, MA headquarters where you will be immersed in a dynamic workplace where innovation thrives and collaboration is key.

Our company in-office schedule is designed to maximize collaboration & relationship building balanced with flexibility and well-being with 3 days in office and Thursdays/Friday being remote, flex days.

**Welch's HQ is moving to a brand new, state of the art facility in Waltham in June of 2025**

What You'll Do:

• Conduct market and cost analysis to support Welch's product portfolio, ensuring competitive pricing and cost efficiency
• Build and maintain relationships with Packaging & Indirect suppliers, supporting Welch's RFP/RFQ calendar and sourcing initiatives
• Collaborate with the Strategic Sourcing team to develop and execute annual sourcing strategies aligned with business objectives
• Monitor and track pricing integrity processes, analyzing ongoing cost trends within a +$40M spend portfolio
• Work closely with cross-functional teams in Operations, R&D, Food Quality, Finance, and Marketing to ensure sourcing strategies align with business needs and product goals

• A multi-tasker, capable of managing competing priorities and driving results in a fast-paced environment
• A growth-minded individual with a focus on cost optimization and continuous improvement

What You'll Need:

• 2+ years of experience within a high performing sourcing/purchasing/procurement/buying atmosphere
• Experience in both Indirect and direct sourcing is highly preferred
• CPG is a plus, with a BS in a related field such as Finance, Business, or Supply Chain
• Proficient in Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
