Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Assessing current designs against compliance guidelines (style guide, accessibility, usability, and documentation).
• Sketching new designs against the current state.
• Reviewing designs with stakeholders.
• Documenting designs for handoff to development.
• Validating that the design was built to specification.
• Familiar working within a design system.
• Familiar documenting visual specifications for web and control panel software.

Primary Task:

• Seek input from key stakeholders.
• Follow established design systems and processes.
• Communicate design solutions to engineers and stakeholders using diagrams, models, and layouts.
• Validate and test as needed.

Other tasks:

• Collaborate with our design team to evolve and refine our design systems.
• Refine and maintain the group's guides processes, toolkits, and libraries.

Required Skills:

• Problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Familiarity with design systems.
• A solid foundation in layout and design patterns.
• Excellent attention to detail.

Experience:

• 3-6 years of experience in related fields preferred.
• Must provide a portfolio of related work that showcases your work.

Qualifications:

• Prefer degree in visual communication, interaction design, graphic design, HCI.
